Hadn’t had Krystals in over a decade. Wife and I went last week. After eating I mentioned that I’d be good for another decade before we go back…I’m sure yours is much better.

An additional tip, possibly for next time:
Dried minced onion, like from your spice rack, works perfectly for the onions. They rehydrate quick with the steam and juices from the beef, and it’s the closest thing I’ve found to Krystal/White castle/McDonalds at home.
Fresh cut onions start too wet then the texture gets too soft. You can oviously caramelize them, which probably tastes better but if you’re looking to make a knock off version…
