


My dad gifted me this banneton he bought in the early 70s on a flea market. He said it was already very old back then.
Smells a bit like wine cork and basement but fortunately the bread out of it doesn’t.
I fell in love with the pattern the braided straw creates!
The bread is a sourdough loaf made from 500g wheat, 200g rye and 100g whole wheat sourdough starter and a 68% hydration.
