The last two containers of Alec’s ice cream I’ve bought have been less than the stated 14oz. Just letting folks know, if your ice cream is not full to the top (as seen in the second photo I took from someone else’s post), then you may have received less ice cream.

It’s 14 FLUID ounces, so volume, not weight, silly.

It even says fluid ounces right on the container.

Not saying the visual isn’t bad, but you can’t be weighing ice cream to determine this. The 14oz listed is fl oz, which is volume. All ice cream has some volume of air in it, the better ones less. Inferring from the nutrition label, this ice cream should be ~323g in weight, which would be 11.4oz. Assuming the cardboard is 15, maybe 20g, you’re missing like 0.8oz tops. It’s not nothing but not as much as it seems at face value.

How are there so many people who can’t or won’t understand the difference between ounces and fluid ounces?
