  1. Well, looks like there’s no hope of them rolling back the AI slop. I wonder if there’s a way to make them stop sending us return offers, because we’re *definitely* not coming back now that they’ve turned AI loose all over the place.

    The article you linked makes no sense on ts AI application, besides some “streamlining”, like do they really think AI will make good and acceptable recipes? Lol like how many more recipes per dollar invested will they get?

    Not to mention you cant just throw seafood and beef into any dish.

    I cancelled today. The AI recipes took me over the edge. Im not a good cook so I cant spot what might be wrong

    Do we know how many people were laid off because of AI? Do we know how much productivity it will take for AI to exceed the human value they are replacing?

  8. Been using HelloFresh for five years. Hundreds of meals. But shit has steadily gone downhill in quality and value, and I won’t be supporting a company that throws all of their resources into AI. Fuck this shit and fuck HelloFresh.

    I was just skipping for a while, but after this, I decided to cancel completely.

  12. 1. Public companies will often release press releases they believe will increase their share value. What they announce doesn’t need to be released in some cases
    2. Associating your brand with AI without a clear value proposition is a two edged knife: if AI bubble doesn’t burst you get some gains in the market. If it does then you lose value as investors won’t consider your company an alternative 
    3. What the article describes is not what we see people reporting

    Zero chance the CEOs will admit this if/when it fails. The company will go under before they admit a mistake and roll it back because of their precious shareholders and their own bonuses. So gross. I’m sad to see as I would sign back up if AI was rolled back, but that’s clearly not happening.

    Thing is, I just can’t imagine that AI can come up with ideas that a few actual human chefs couldn’t.

    This is why I will never subscribe again. I worked training AI for a while and the recipes they gave me had cheese listed 17 times and ridiculous ingredients and amounts listed in otherwise simple recipes. Bye forever Hello Fresh and EveryPlate.
