This is my first time visiting this sub and I think a lot of commenters… could use some practice, and a decent thermometer.
The “cuisson” (how much the meat is cooked) is determined primarily by temperature since that’s what controls the chemical reactions that contribute to how much the steak is actually cooked. Cuisson can’t really be determined visually, but there are some visual cues… to me this steak looks medium, cooked a little bit less hot than it could have been since it’s missing a nice dark crust on the exterior and it’s a fairly uniform light(ish) pink throughout the middle.
Ultimately, the only question that matters is “did y’all enjoy that steak?” and hopefully you did! 🍻
