I kinda mashed the lucuma, then strained it before churning, but did press a bunch thru the strainer.

I LOVE lucuma ice cream! I had it once at a Peruvian (I think it was) restaurant. Theirs had a very high fat content, but it worked. I wish I could get lucuma where I am
