The freshness of the orange zest, the crunch of the hazelnuts and almonds and a good drizzle of melted dark chocolate make these Italian biscotti absolutely delicious and perfect for the festive season. Biscotti means twice-cooked so after the first bake you slice them and bake them again for 10 minutes. This gives them their crunchy characteristic! I love them served with my coffee in the morning or a cup of tea and they are perfect to share as well with family and friends.

I know you all love my biscotti recipes, so today I want to show you a perfect one for this time of year. Chocolate and orange, egg free and completely vegan. To a bowl, add all the dry ingredients first. The flour, the baking powder, the sugar, the hazelnut and the almonds, and a small pinch of salt. And give it a good mix all together. Now go in with the almond milk and 2 tbsp of vegetable oil. Then go in with the zest of one orange and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Now mix it all together until it form a slightly sticky dough. Sprinkle a little bit of flour on a wooden board and place the dough on top of it. Sprinkle a touch of flour over the dough and brush your ends with it. Now pat it down and shape it into a long rectangular shape. With a bench scraper or a spatula, go underneath and make sure there’s no sticking. Now slide it onto a baking tray. Bake it at 170 on a fan mode until golden on top, about 30 minutes. The aroma is incredible, but now let it rest for 15 minutes before cutting into it. Place them back on the tray and bake them once more at 160 for 15 minutes. And all is left to do is to decorate it with melted dark chocolate. The chocolate with the orange, the hellnut, the almond, it’s a perfect combination. Absolutely delicious.

  11. One thing I like with this guy is that he doesn't rush with the ingredients and also tell us the cooking process as slow as possible..as a result it is so easy for a guy like me who is learning to cook for another year now..

  12. I cant wait to lose my job to AI to have time for all of this. Assuming I'm not eliminated for being poor and my family didnt endow me with a trust fund, of course.
