texturally a bit of a nightmare ngl, the ratio is perfectly fine but the onion deserves more care and finesse. i’d highly recommend you invest in a mandolin slicer. i hope the onion council doesn’t banish me for this.

In fact, there’s this restaurant in Brooklyn called Red Hook Tavern, their burger is in the top 3 I’ve ever had in my life & it’s just 4 ingredients. Burger patty, sesame bun, American cheese, and a whole slice of white onion.
