Hope you bought it new from A dealer. If so, it’s covered under the lifetime warranty. If not…ouch

Is that running all the way through? I know it probably is, but I’m being optimistic that it’s just the glaze. How did it crack? Do you see smoke coming through? I’d be tempted to seal it, though I don’t know if that would ruin the warranty.

Just went through a few weeks of getting a dealer voucher to get my egg registered to access my lifetime warranty. It was a lot of hoop jumping but it worked out for me.
I didn’t even buy the egg from this particular dealer, but I had done a couple of smaller warranty part replacements with them over the past few years. They were able to fill out a voucher form and got it approved. Had the replacement base within a week.

It looks like the crack runs to the vent opening. If so, it probably won’t crack any more than what it is now. If it’s registered, replace it. If it’s not, send it.
