On Thanksgiving morning, I'm assuming from being overloaded, the PitBoss servers were unreachable making no app controls available. Obviously incredibly frustrating, PitBoss has sent out emails to cover a free bag of Pellets on them as an apology.

    Kinda makes me glad mine doesn’t have that feature, just a direct probe for me. Sucks for you guys that had to go through that.

    I bought a wireless thermometer with ambient temp. Much more accurate than the PB temps. Mine always seems to run 30 degrees cooler than the shown temps. Best 40 dollar purchase for the smoker yet.
