Pam Tillis Was Running Late to the Opry, Until a Fan Helped Her Out
It’s clear that Pam will do whatever it takes to give her fans a good show. On Black Friday this year, Tillis was supposed to perform at the Grand Ole Opry, but got caught up in some nasty traffic. The hitmaker shared a video on
“>Instagram to reassure fans that she was on her way, and offered pointers for surviving Nashville holiday traffic.
Determined to make it to her show on time, Tillis held up a makeshift sign on her phone. It read, “I’m singing at the Opry please let me through.” Luckily for her and her audience waiting at the country music venue, Tillis was recognized by a fan in traffic, who let her pass on through. Ironically, that fan was actually headed in the same direction and had plans to see Pam play live that night.
“I see you, Ms. Pam,” the fan called out to her in traffic. “We’ve seen you many, many times, you and Ms. Lorrie.”
At the end of the day, Pam successfully navigated the traffic and made it to her show on time. As she said, she’ll do anything for her fans, even when it means that “desperate times call for desperate measures.”
