The seasoning you sprinkled on top gives it such a good finish. I love when gyudon has that mix of sweet savory, and a little hit of heat. And that long slice you lifted in the second picture looks so tender.

One of my favorite lazy and great tasting dishes to make especially if I have leftover rice. I use a dry dashi to make the sauce/stock and i usually have frozen thinly sliced brisket. That reminds me i need to slice up more. Looks great!
