Guy is a real POS. Worked for him in college at another one of his failed businesses and never paid out their final checks because they couldn’t afford to. I think him and his partners have failed at least 3 food businesses at this point.

He’s a fucking egotistical lunatic (has a full size painted portrait of himself in one of his restaurants) and verbally abusive as an employer. Truly a petty tyrant.
One time I was trying to help set up the front and was setting out napkins and asked him if the expo station needed any for bagging and he said and I shit you not “Why the fuck are you asking me about napkins I own five fucking restaurants”
Also he wasn’t paying his cleaning staff at Gino and Marty’s to the point they just didn’t show up at one point.
Also there were some extremely lax food safety practices.
Also I had to hound tnem to get my final check.

Update: [A Block Club reporter has published this video](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DQ658_9kW9j/?igsh=MWxvaG0xcWxvdnBnNA==) today, detailing the volume of complaints and unpaid invoices against Gino & Marty’s, as well as confirming that there is video evidence of him pouring Kirkland brand liquor into higher-end bottles on camera inside the restaurant, AFTER the restaurants liquor license expired and they were operating illegally. Keep it classy, Gino.

Shame. I’ve met some of the other Bartucci family since I lived by their old school joints and they seemed fine, but I hear nothing but shitty things about Gino. Someone I went to school with did some event with the restaurant and she usually does multiple events with a business but she never did business with them again. I don’t know the details but it’s just something I observed.
