Sapori d’Italia is set to open at 1102 Cathcart Road in a unit previously occupied by Hoagies.
The family-owned establishment was previously located at 1021 Cathcart Road, now home to Buck’s Bar Southside, but closed in 2021.

Pictures taken today show signage has now gone up at the restaurant’s new home, with the business also restoring the brick to its natural colour.
As well as the name of the restaurant, the signage reads “wine bar and takeaway” and “pasta and bar”.
A photo of the work shared by bosses on Instagram was met with excitement from diners who are looking forward to the eatery’s return.
