These look great. I do pigs in a blanket all the time with sourdough when my kids have friends over. I stopped with the sesame seeds because they just fall off and get all over the floor and countertops. I don’t know why, but my Dyson doesn’t pick them up from the grout in the kitchen and I’m finding the seeds for weeks!

No wonder your goblin roommates snatched them up so fast 😆

!!!!HERE IS THE RECEPIE FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO TRY!!!!

    Oven 190°C

    1kg all pourpose flour
    500ml milk+water 50/50 ratio
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    2 tablespoon butter (melted)
    1.5 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1 packet fresh yeast (42g)

    1 egg
    Milk few drops
    Sesame seeds

Bloom the yeast in a mixture of water, milk and sugar (must be warm to touch in order for yeast to bloom, and you can put a spoon of flour for yeast to bloom better)

Put the yeast mixture in a bowl or even better a kitchen machine mixer with dough hook and then put half of flour in the bowl

Wait until everything is combined and then add rest of the flour and knead for 10-15 min

After kneading you the dough must rise for 1 hour at least. I find its best for me to let it rise for 2 hour but its optional.

Make 80g balls. You should be able to get 20 to 22 pieces. Let them rest for 15 min so they are easier to roll out

Roll them out to fit hotdog of your liking.

Brush them with egg/milk mixture and spread sesame seeds

Let it rise for 15 min and put them in the oven on both heat elements for 10-12 min to bake( if your oven sucks like my you need to put them on lowest rack in order to get good crust on the bottom)

While they are got brush them with either ghee or neutral oil for beautiful look
