As much as I love Shepherd's pie made with lentils or mushrooms, this version made with Impossible meat is my favorite. It is a veganized version of the old school Shepherd's pie, further simplified by using frozen mixed vegetables. Yum. Technically it's a veganized version of Cottage pie, but I've never known it as such

  1. For another opinion on the recipe.  

    Skip the ketchup and V8.  Do a little can of tomato juice and a whole can of wild to paste in there, if you’re feeling wild, 2 cans.  It adds a wonderful savoryness and makes a great glue for the guts of the pie.   Tomato paste is my special ingredient that makes this go from good food to wonderful food.

    Looks delicious 🤤! Lentil Shepard’s pie is bomb but sometimes you just need to indulge with impossible or Gardien.
