It’s not bad, but doesn’t remotely replace actual onions. To me, the onion flavor is mild at best.

Yes it’s good but it’s very easy to go overboard and accidentally salt the piss out of your food. The other Kinder’s seasonings I don’t have that problem, maybe it’s because this powder is much finer. It tastes nice though, just definitely taste as you go. First time I made something with this and used the same amount as I would have a different Kinder’s seasoning, it was virtually inedible.

I didnt like it, but it was the “butter” part ofnthe flavoring that threw me off it.

It’s pretty meh. Threw mine out after never finding it appetizing.
I’ve stopped buying all flavors but lemon pepper. That one is great, the rest I feel are easy to copy with standard seasonings (mostly salt tbh)

A little goes a long way

Does anyone dehydrate onions and make their own spices? We’ve been debating it
TLRPM
There has not been a single Kinders seasoning I liked at all. Including this one. And I have very low standards.

Definitely more butter flavor than onion

Roommate has informed me that we have some of this, and I have been instructed that it’s my job to figure out how to use it.
Suggestions, please?

It’s amazing for eggs, fyi

More salt and terrible fake butter flavor than anything resembling caramelized onions.

These premix spices are good. But I always substitute them for salt in the recipe and taste before adding more salt. These are mostly just scams to get you to buy overpriced spices that are mostly salt.

Some part of my brain says this would be great on popcorn, especially with people saying it’s very salty. I haven’t tried it, though.

I like it on pork chops. I coat the exterior in a thin amount of this then pan fry it and it gets super crusty and caramelized

No, but I need to find it now

It’s so good.

This is best used as a finishing seasoning because its very strong and burns easily. Maybe melt it in butter and baste meat/seafood with it.
