I mean I’ve never really cared for the novelty of the long bone on “tomahawk” steaks but I’d definitely go for a ribeye over a porterhouse. That being said, I do prefer a porterhouse (or strip/filet on their own) if incorporating a sauce. Ribeyes are rich enough on their own, but a strip with a peppercorn sauce I really enjoy.

Tomahawk.

Porterhouse. I don’t get paying a premium for a bone you can’t eat.

One’s a rip off and the other makes sense. Respectfully. Shout out to the 🐄 that made this tho.

Not a fan of porterhouse. It’s two different cuts of steak that cook differently. Hard to cook it right.
I will take tomahawk. Easier to cook and I save up the bones to make stock.

I’ve never tried tomahawk. the cheapest one I’ve seen on the menu was $140. The most expensive steak I ever had in a restaurant was $80 and it tasted 8 out of 10 so i was disheartened.

Tomahawk. Basically a big ribeye vs a big t-bone and ribeye wins as long as we are talking about the same grade of meat here.

Rib eye because I’m not paying for a bone.

Started as a porterhouse fan, but then tried a tomahawk and there’s been no going back.

Give me a porterhouse. You get a NY strip and a filet. I don’t get the popularity of the tomahawk. It’s always priced way higher than a regular bone-in ribeye which I think is a great steak.
Drowners
Not a bad choice. I’m having dinner at the Arroyo Chophouse (Pasadena). I’ll be having the Porterhouse (rare), sides and an Old Fashioned

Filet. I hate beef fat. So neither.

Tomahawks are so fucking stupid. They’re ribeyes for people that would buy a cybertruck.

I’d go porterhouse for the bone in filet.
