Am I supposed to cook the macaroni and then divide by 10 (since it says about 10 portions prr container) and every portion is 270?

Yes. 10 tiny portions at 270 calories each

The label is wrong. There’s no way that small box of macaroni is 2700 calories. 6 oz of dry noodles would be around 600 calories. That means the powder cheese and whatever mix-ins it calls for (milk, butter?) would have to account for 2000+ calories.

I don’t know what your box says. If you look at the nutrition label online from other sources, it says 2.5 servings per container. That’s more on par with the calories you’d expect: ~700 calories for the box

The only thing I can think of is if it came in a pack of 4 and the label is giving you the nutrition for making all 4 boxes, which would be ~2700-2800 calories.

Nah it’s 2.5 servings per box so 270* 2.5 calories for each prepared box.

The image you’re showing appears to come from 10 boxes?

  4. The serving size is 71 grams and the entire box is 170 grams so it has 170/71=2.394 servings per container. So the whole box would be 260*2.394=622.44 calories. The 10 servings must be an error because if you go by grams it’s not even close to 10.
