Mighty fine lookin’, especially that gravy!

The black habanero El Yucateco is my favorite on any breakfast. Good in chili too!

Besides that green, Tapatio is a solid choice.

Best sauce for B and G is gravy. As for the eggs though, i like to use Chipotle Cholula. It really hits with the yolk 👌

Oh man I’m here for this one, it’s Holy Jolokia and it’s not too close.

Right. It’s all personal taste. Yellow Bird Ghost Pepper, Melinda’s Special Reserve habanero or Tabasco Habanero.

I’ve got it so bad you wouldn’t even see the white of the egg.

I’d hit that with Dawson’s Hot Dog sauce but I never got the whole biscuits and gravy thing. Never grew up with it and when I did try it the first time I was all the hype for this no.

I like to use ground habaneros for homemade dishes like this if I want them spicy. While I generally love the El Yucateo sauces (the black and the XXX Caribbean are my favorites), sometimes I don’t want to change the flavor of a dish if possible, and that’s pretty hard to do when using a sauce. I take a lot of pride in my B&G, so no sauce on my homemade B&G, but the Yuctateo sauces would most certainly be my go to for anything from a restaurant.

  10. Chipotle Tabasco, just wish it was hotter. If they made a smoked Scorpion I’d be so stoked

If you’re not super particular about your sausage gravy, I add some maple syrup into mine. It’s unbelievable. Lots of pepper, generous salt. Sorry that was unwarranted but it’s unreal. Also I think chipotle Tabasco was go amazing with this.

That stuff. That is the stuff I drive all the way across town for

ETA – Looks like you forgot to add any though 🧐

Yeah. Anything with a fried egg is going to get the green and some cotija on the side.

Put the egg under the gravy and add shredded cheddar. The gravy is the sauce if your looking for spice I add cayanne pepper to the gravy when cooking it
