Just as the title says. Not sure how to filx. If I piece it together with smalk nuts and bolts or rivets, I am worried the ash catcher will not fit anymore.

Open to advice, especially if it already happened to your kettle.

TIA

Drill holes through original attachment points, use rivet gun to re-attach,

Of course if you don’t own a drill or a rivet gun with rivets, it might just be cheaper to go online and buy a replacement part.

Theyre pretty easy to replace. I’d try your nuts and bolts method first, but if it doesn’t work, just replace it

Just use a sheet metal or tech screw

  4. I recently went through this. After shipping and tax The replacement ring was going to cost me around $98.00

I bought a used kettle from marketplace for $50.00 just for the ring and pot. Used the parts to repair my kettle then gave the marketplace kettle away.

Provided you have a drill to make the holes, get your butt over to Northern tool and get a $10 pop rivet gun kit on sale. I was just there a couple of weeks ago and managed to score a $30 grease gun for $5 on blowout and then they had a tube of my favorite grease but it wasn’t in the system so they gave it to me for free and the grease itself was worth more than $5, lol. I love that place.
