La Vic’s for the orange sauce, but not the food. It literally goes great on anything but it’s really not what I would consider hot sauce. That being said, I moved from San Jose to Colorado and would take La Vic so fucking fast lol.
I remember the first time I bought a bottle my friend and I took it to St John burgers in Sunnyvale (or Santa Clara?) Literally goes on anything.

so you’ll just giving BJs and stealing car radios for this sauce

Used to go to La Vics in Redwood City and SJ. That’s stuff is so good. We made burritos tonight. I could have used some of that.

I don’t know why yours looks so beige, I’ve been given a few bottles of that sauce and it was never that color. I’ve been trying to replicate it and my family loves what I’ve come up with.
In my ooni pizza oven I roast 2 yellow onions, 8 Roma tomatoes and 6 cloves of garlic and set aside. I also quickly toast a large handful of chilies de arbol and a few quajillo chilies in the ooni (only takes a few seconds). I throw the chiles, garlic, a cup of hot water, 1/2 cup of cider vinegar and salt into the blender. I blend the shit out of it. Then I throw the onions and tomatoes in and blend again. After a minute I slowly start drizzling in 2 cups of avocado oil while it’s running. It emulsifies into an amazing sauce.

Angelous orange sauce is king, but I won’t kick la vics out of bed. the food at la vic is pretty bad though, while angelous is great.
massive bummer that angelous doesn’t ship theirs

So the best use I’ve found for extract sauces is mixing them with this. This shit tastes so good but doesn’t have great heat, add some extract and boom

Hmmm. Never heard of it. Do tell.
Is the orange in reference to color or flavor?
