I struggled a bit with how to call it though. I called it ” Pain au chocolate chips and cream cheese” but received quite a way of backlash, opps, to my surprise. This is because I think “Pain au” is too prevalent to be associated with anything other than “chocolat” but calling it ” Pain au chocolat” is completely wrong ( no chocolate batons there). Finally I think I can call it ” A croissant with cream cheese and chocolate chips”. Oops, the Internet can be unforgiving. I am glad you guys are more than welcoming and gentle!!!
