Any recommendations? The green stickies on the grinder are just my setting notes for pour over vs espresso.

Yes, that is my knock box. Don’t be too jealous.

    Too late.

I don’t recommend drinking the shot straight out of the machine’s teet. Some cups could help!

A quartz countertop to go with your lelit.

Bro chill out, my wife is on this app.

Don’t feed the dogs with pucks!

Yo, can I get a link to the knock box? Would make the perfect Xmas gift!

Grind your salt finer, it tastes better and is easier to spread on food

Lol! After last week here I recommend you start a thread dedicated to your knock box (please don’t, we’ve had enough). 😁

Idk for real though, I like what you’ve got going there.

Glad to see someone using the Vario W+ on here. Currently just using mine for drip, but will soon transition it to espresso grinding. Did you have to make any fine tuning adjustments to get a good espresso grind? Did you switch out the steel burrs for the ceramic?

Single dose your coffee homie. It’ll be WAY fresher. The shots you pull when you first put beans in vs when those beans are almost done are going to be vastly different, even if they only sit in the hopper for a week. I know it’s super aesthetic and convenient to put the beans in the hopper, but you’ll get WAY better cups by single dosing

Edit: (won’t let me edit in post) CUPS! The Loveramics are stored in the cabinet and, based on what I’m making, the proper cup gets pulled.

My wife and I put the proper cup for what we want on the machine before bed. I have a shortcut set up that starts up the machine the moment I take my phone off the charger in the morning using the smart plug by those beans.

Delicious cookies on that box. Share them with your coworkers.

Get a knock box. Get a silicone tamping mat. Put your Mara on a tray, and put your grinder on a tray, to catch spillages. Get a bottomless PF if you haven’t already, then get a shot mirror for it. Get a precision basket. Enjoy delicious espresso .Resist the pressure to upgrade machines.

Nice Triton T3R. I’ve got a T2 for weighing *things*.

I dig that you not only have various salts but also an actual cellar.

  16. Chardmo

Nope! Perfection. Catfood cardboard comes once a month.

  17. Don’t put beans in the hopper, you’d be dialing your shots constantly due to moisture loss

I see this is another day where we may drift further towards r/espressocirclejerk

I did a cardboard box knock box once and forgot about it, weeks later its was mouldy AF, gross. Yours is better because it’s shallow and that’ll remind you to empty it out.

Is this how Luwak coffee was made?

  21. Platypushaun

Where is the oven to bake the espresso cookies?

  22. coolstuffeh

Protect those beans like they are vampire. Poor little beans exposed to light and air.

  23. Pure_Description1703

Easy on the knockbox, avoid binging for stuff like that

  24. Human_G_Gnome

Take the Hot Hot Hot sticker off your Mara before it is permanently melted on.

  25. zOlidSWE

I heard when making espresso cookies, you can actually drink the liquid you press through them.
I know it sounds weird, but I heard some people do this, but idk.

If you want them not to crumple as much, try baking them on a bit lower temp and longer!

Bro uses a cardboard tray as a knock box and wants suggestions? Here’s a suggestion…. Get a knock box lol

I was about to ask what brand is that knock box. I’m jealous lol
