Being pregnant during the festive season feels extra special as you await your little bundle of joy, but the only thing we can’t enjoy as much as everyone else is a holiday cocktail, but we can enjoy a tasty Christmas mocktail!
Luckily, there are some brilliant non-alcoholic options out there for mums-to-be these days, with plenty of other delicious drinks to sip on during the festivities or before our Christmas dinner.

We’ve compiled a list of some delicious Christmas mocktail recipes for the mums-to-be, that are so nice, you’re not going to want to go back to drinking alcohol!
Holiday Hugo Spritz

Ingredients (serves 2)
90ml Non-alcoholic elderflower liqueur (e.g Giffard Elderflower Alcohol Free)
45ml Cranberry Juice
15ml freshly-squeezed orange juice
120ml Nosecco
A splash of soda water
Frozen pomegranate seeds or cranberries and fresh rosemary or mint for garnish
Method
First, add ice to your glass (a goblet wine glass works well for this mocktail).
Add your elderflower liqueur, cranberry juice, orange juice, nosecco, to the glass and gently stir.
Top up with soda water, add your garnishes of choice, and voila!
Poinsettia Cocktail

Ingredients (serves 1)
150ml Nosecco
50ml Alcohol-free orange liqueur (e.g. Lyre’s Orange Sec)
100ml Cranberry juice
Cranberries and a sprig of rosemary to garnish
Method
Chill the nosecco, alcohol-free orange liqueur, and cranberry juice, and your glass of choice in the fridge until cold.
Pour the alcohol-free orange liqueur and cranberry juice into the glass, gently stir, and top up with nosecco.
Garnish with a few cranberries and rosemary, and enjoy!
Winter Aperol Spritz

Ingredients (serves 2)
120ml Alcohol-free Aperol Spritz (e.g. Lyres Italian Spritz Style)
60ml cranberry juice or pomegranate juice
180ml Nosecco
A spash of sparkling water
Cranberries, pomegranate seeds, orange slice, or a sprig of rosemary to garnish
Method
Add a generous amount of ice to your glass
In a pitcher, combine the alcohol-free aperol spritz, cranberry juice, nosecco and gently stir.
Pour into your glasses and top up with sparkling water.
Add your garnishes of choice and enjoy!
Basil-ica Cocktail

Ingredients (serves 1)
4 Basil leaves
15ml Sugar syrup
60ml Non-alcoholic gin
15ml Non-alcoholic elderflower liqueur (e.g Giffard Elderflower Alcohol Free)
1 Dash non-alcoholic bitters
15ml Fresh lemon juice
Extra basil leaf to garnish
Method
Muddle the basil leaves, fresh lemon juice, and sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker.
Add the non-alcoholic gin, non-alcoholic elderflower liqueur, and bitters.
Fill with ice, pop the lid on and shake for 10 seconds.
Strain into your cocktail glass and garnish with the extra basil leaf.
Mistletoe Mule

Ingredients (serves 1)
60ml Alcohol-free vodka
45ml Cranberry juice
15ml fresh lime juice
7ml Cinnamon sugar syrup
1 sage leaf
Non-alcoholic ginger beer
cranberry and sage leaves to garnish
Method
Combine the alcohol-free vodka, cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, cinnamon simple syrup and sage leaves into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake.
Coat the rims of the mugs with cinnamon sugar, using lime juice to make it stick.
Add ice into the glasses, strain in the cocktail mix, and top up with ginger beer.
Garnish with 1 cranberry and two sage leaves to make a mistletoe topper.
