🍊Whole Candied Mandarins 🍊 – in 21 days! ( use the best quality fruits)
1. Blanch the 🍊 to soften them.
2. Make a light syrup (1 part sugar : 2 parts water).
3. Add the 🍊 and let them soak.
4. Then twice a day, for 21 days:
• Remove the 🍊
• Reheat the syrup
• Return 🍊 to soak

By day 21, they will turn beautifully candied, glossy, and perfectly preserved.

I used these mandarins in my panettone—folded in with chocolate and raisins. For the topping, I love adding custard for an extra creamy finish.
