I’ve never heard of this before, and Google for some reason returns this post as the top result. But my stab in the dark would be Kalustyan’s.

Try Duals Natural! They have a spot on the LES and one off the Marcy M in Williamsburg! They’re awesome. Kalustyan’s is amazing too.

The reason no one knew what you were talking about is because those aren’t raisins. It’s definitely a dried fruit of some kind, but it isn’t dried grapes.
I think u/circusgeek is correct that it’s diced dates. If that’s the case, there’s [a shop in Jamaica](https://nyspiceshop.com/products/chopped-dates-diced-dates?srsltid=AfmBOorn1VsgbBToLNJavsNIhoOn3Z6yMODIoE39GYqyjRAq7awb1_0s) that sells them.
If you don’t want to go out to Jamaica, I’d also check Kalyustan’s, Sahadi’s and Nut Factory, in that order. None of them have the exact product listed online, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you found it on the shelves.

100% that’s a date. These are commonly found in muesli mixes. They’re occasionally coated with a bit of rice flour so they’re not too sticky.

Like others said, chopped dates. I’ll take it one step farther for you- if that’s out of granola or muesli it’s likely not a medjool date. Probably a deglet, maybe a noor. If you google “chopped dates” or “date pellets” you’ll get a ton of results. Kalustyans or Dual both may have, or Nuts Factory in Brooklyn, or Sahadis. But also, Dole and a lot of other large brands sell chopped dates so a regular grocery store could have. Likely none of those places chopped dates will be as dry and compressed as the ones that come in muesli, for that you will almost definitely have to order from like a bulk online dried fruit purveyor that sells to granola/muesli makers. I found a lot of options by googling “date pellets”
