Breakfast corn dogs. Let’s make it. These are essentially some breakfast sausages that I coated in some pancake batter and then I deep fried them. These were so delicious. For the sausages, I’m using these blueberry maple sausages along with some Crusty’s pancake batter. I added the frozen sausages to a skillet and then I started heating them up until they are cooked all the way through. I think they already are. Then for the pancake batter, I added it to a big bowl along with some milk and some water. I’m a little extra, so I also added in some vanilla bean paste. And you just want to mix it up until it’s still a little clumpy but runny. Just like this. I added it to a glass bowl or it could be a plastic bowl. It’s just what I had. Stuck a skewer into the sausage and then dipped it into the pancake batter. Immediately after coating it in the pancake batter, we’re going to put it into a skillet with some hot oil. And we’re going to fry it for around 60 seconds to 2 minutes. It’s a minute or two. It goes by very quickly. You just want to make sure they’re perfectly golden brown and crispy all over. I had these for breakfast with some hash browns and some scrambled eggs.
