I don’t get the hate. He’s attempting to recreate a particular style of pizza that you might not have seen.
It’s from Bocce Pizza Club in Buffalo New York. The shape and cut style match.
I don’t see this as a crime at all. Plenty of famous pizza places are known for serving well done pizza. The shape and the cut were exactly what it was meant to be. Detroit style pizza doesn’t have a ring of crust.
