Sautéed onions and sweet peppers while the pots were roasting. Cut up some Italian sausage, browned it then combined everything together. My family was pleased ✨

You are steaming the sausages instead of browning them. IMO this dish would be 10x better if you browned them first and removed them before you cooked down the peppers and onions.
