Honey Soy Glazed Chicken with Garlic Ginger Brothy Rice

A friend recently told me about brothy rice is going viral on Tik Tok and I was like, “What is brothy rice?” I looked it up and it’s basically something I grew up eating. Just warm broth poured over rice. So, here’s my take. Honey soy glazed chicken with garlic ginger brothy rice. This is the recipe you need in your weekly rotation. First, start by seasoning your chicken thighs with salt and pepper and coat them with cornstarch. Fry until both sides are golden brown. Then, the glaze is just garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and honey. Throw the chicken back in and cook until they’re sticky and caramelized. Then I made a very simple broth with lots of garlic and ginger. To assemble the dish, pour the broth over your rice. Top with chicken and some veggies. Garnish with sesame seed and green onion. And you’ll have a complete balanced meal ready in 30

  1. I don't get why you people love to lie so much about "viral this, viral that". How TF is this viral? It's been around for ages. I love a broth infused plate of rice with either chicken, salmon or shrimps.

  2. i just call it gukbap (literally transltes to soup rice 😭😭 its so traditional in korean foods it hurts me to see “brothy rice”)
