I am on the road this week and determined to finish this book off as I drive my amazing mother around visiting family.
Part of why I choose to can is to make my life easier, as we have food allergies and food sensitivity in our household. As an avid American Food History Enthusiast, this title is particularly interesting.
Have any of you read this one?

Because I can

Because you can’t beat the freshness. Everything tastes so much better than grocery store canned stuff. And shelf stability is important to me right now bc the world feels super unstable.

I will read this book here, thank you for the recommendation.
In turn I encourage you to read “The Jungle” by Upton Sinclair. The classic book is based on fictional characters. However, it is said that he himself went undercover to the meat packaging plants and recorded real accounts and experiences. His book is what lead to the meat regulations we have to this day. I was absolutely floored by this book! And I know I will be floored by reading yours.
