GREENPOINT — GREENPOINT’S FORMA PASTA FACTORY has been crowned America’s No. 1 Italian restaurant for delivery by DoorDash, a twist the owners never expected after initially planning not to offer takeout at all, according to the New York Post. Founder Amit Rabinovich said the seven-year-old shop was pushed into delivery during the pandemic, forcing chefs to perfect dishes that could survive a courier ride without turning soggy. Forma now limits deliveries to a tight radius and cooks each order moments before pickup to keep pasta al dente.

The Post carried out a  taste test and found the hype justified, with standout plates like fettuccine funghi and pappardelle bolognese arriving hot, intact, and richly flavored.
