Ask yourself how fish reproduce. Then ask yourself what little white balls are reminiscent of.

  2. It’s the roe. Very tasty with a nice texture in my opinion.

“Well, you see Billy, sometimes, when one sardine loves another sardine very much…”

Fish eggs. All good, it’s lucky, like getting a double yolker egg.

tbh the eggs always grossed me out even though i know they’re harmless so i give them to my cat 😅

Nuri makes a Sardine Roe tin that’s 40-50 euros. Consider it a bonus.

Not sure why, but I’ve found roe in Trader Joe’s sardines more than any other brand.

First time lucky! Took me years before I found any. I understand being surprised by the roe though

    The yummy part
We Japanese get super happy if we find it

  13. I’ve eaten “pregnant fish” before.

    Some kind of asian delicacy.

    It was mushy.

All the lemon sauce ones I got from Walmart had roe, I wasn’t a fan of the texture sadly 🙁
