This is a plate of pasta from Manducatis. Family run spot in Long Island City, NY since 1977. It is listed as Carbonara on the menu but proudly lists pancetta and onion as ingredients. It is categorically not carbonara and the eggs are eggs but it is one of my favorite dishes of pasta out there.
Antipasto before. Gnocchi always great here. The second to last pic is one of my favorites: chicken, scallions and vinegar peppers. Many a fond memory here.
