I've never had a wine like this!
It is a dark ruby almost purple color.
It is perfumy and wild and floral on the nose. Cherry pie with some earthiness on the palate.
Medium bodied, low tannin, and medium plus acidity. There is a funkiness but the wine is well balanced! It is delicious. This is definitely what I think of in a good low / no intervention wine

I love these wines! so interesting and delicious.
It’s one of my favorite villages in the southern part of France for wines, but they’re not easy to acquire in my area, nor are they inexpensive. Master of Wine Rosemary George wrote a relatively easy reading book on the area which is worth a read if you are really a wine geek. It’s not comparable to her other efforts on French country wines though.
This property is the best known and most well-bid.
Love this wine, got some cheap 2011 magnums and they aged into the nicest plum nose.
