Bought a 2 pack of tri tip from Costco. Used kjdners butter garlic on one and kinders Brazilian steak on the other.

225 for 1.5 hours.
250 for another 1.5 hrs.

Let it rest for 30 min.

Was so juicy even the last ends here were swimming in glorious meat juice !!

I do mine around 225-250 for about 1.5 ish hours until 120 and then sear the piss out of them. It’s crazy how fast they cook. Poor man’s filet in my opinion (even though they aren’t THAT cheap)

Looks good! Tri tip is one of my favorite things to reverse sear. I’ve never got a bad batch from Costco. Actually just had one the other day. Simple SPOG, smoked at 225 until 119 internal, then threw it in my pizza oven for a high temp broil sear. Came out amazing!

Those seasonings sound good. Never tried kinders. What was your meat temp when pulling off to rest?
