I picked up baking as a hobby to keep my brain and body busy in the tough early days. I'm so grateful to have fallen in love with it! It's not a perfect pie, but it's the prettiest one I've ever made. Proud of it, proud of myself, grateful for another sober day full of pie.

I’m almost to my 2 1/2 year anniversary on the 21st (Winter Solstice), and I, too, started baking to keep myself out of trouble. Now it’s one of my favorite things to do. I am currently baking a bunch of cookies for cookie boxes to give to the people I care about. Couldn’t imagine doing this 3 years ago…
