    1 Not-Beef bouillon cube, a tablespoon of vegan Worcestershire, dash of liquid smoke, a bunch of fresh ground black pepper. A little brown sugar, some agave or some maple syrup if you desire. Mix ingredients with enough warm water to cover tempeh slices. Let marinade until absorbed. Fry in avocado oil. Salt or don’t.

    Looks good whether it tastes like bacon or not.

    There’s a recipe for “bacon bits” on the back of my unsweetened coconut flakes bag that uses the same sort of ingredients.

    I love this as well; I just wish I could get it to slice thinner. Anyone tried a partial freeze to get thinner slices?
