I ate Subway all the time as a kid in the 90’s and loved it. Every time I try to eat it as an adult it is terrible. Bread has a gross texture with a weird processed flavor, meats are low quality, veggies are flavorless. Sauces are the only redeeming quality imo.

My local Subway was taken over by new management and they do not give a single fuck about meat and cheese rules. They routinely slap on double the meat and cheese and don’t charge anything extra for it. I love them.

Subway’s pretty tasty when you don’t have any other option. I have no deli, no sub shop (other than the Wey) and no good bakery. I’ve been looking for a good hoagie bread recipe so I can make my own (recommendations welcome). But can never seem to find a good one. Anyway, Subway is all I got, and it’s actually pretty good here.
