One of Sonoma County’s most acclaimed restaurants was among the 100 most sought-after restaurants in the U.S. this year, according to OpenTable.
Healdsburg’s SingleThread was included in the app’s list of “2025’s Top 100 Restaurants,” which highlights beloved neighborhood gems and iconic eateries across the country based on over 10 million user reviews, OpenTable said in a news release last month.
The three-Michelin-starred restaurant, owned and operated by Kyle and Katina Connaughton, was the only North Bay dining destination to make the list, which is presented in alphabetical order by state and restaurant name rather than ranked.

The Connaughtons were also recently honored when SingleThread was named one of 10 restaurants to share the No. 1 position in the 2026 edition of Paris-based La Liste’s highly anticipated international dining guide, “Top 1,000 Restaurants.”
“It really speaks to the level of products, artisans, farmers and winemakers that we have here in Sonoma,” chef-owner Kyle Connaughton said about that recognition last month.

For OpenTable’s list, restaurants were selected based on several data points, including the percentage of five-star reviews, reservations made in advance and direct searches on the app between Sept. 1, 2024, and Aug. 31, 2025, OpenTable said in its news release.
All told, 18 California restaurants were featured on the OpenTable list, including four San Francisco spots: Gary Danko, House of Prime Rib, Kokkari Estiatorio, and the Progress. One Oakland restaurant, Sun Moon Studio, also made the list.
“From rising stars to timeless favorites, these spots showcase the richness of dining today,” Debby Soo, CEO of OpenTable, said in a statement in the news release.
