    Tiramisu is usually not stupid.

This tiramisu in particular, at $150? It’s the highest level of stupidity.

  2. Available-Rope-3252

I’ve always wondered why influencers have had such a hard-on for tiramisu in the last couple years.

  3. roguecolor

I honestly think this is more stupid plating and presentation rather than the food being stupid.
Nonetheless, I prefer my tiramisu served from a big ass container that has been in the fridge at least overnight.

  4. NoREEEEEEtilBrooklyn

I don’t trust that it’s actually $150. Some influencers lie about pricing so they seem more affluent than they actually are.

  5. Samerrrrrrrrr

This is how a tourist trap in Italy looks like*

  6. SilverB33

Nah man who out here is paying that much for tiramisu aside from idiot influencers?

  7. HoodieGalore

It needs to sit in the fridge overnight, so the moisture from the espresso *and the cream* soaks into the ladyfingers and softens them slightly. This is going to be weird crunchy trash.

Tiramisu is very easy to make and is absolutely delicious. I can probably make 1kg of it for like 15$. Also, without it being in the fridge for like 8 hours, it’s not even the true tiramisu.

  9. skittletriage

For $150 that better come with my choice of sexual favor.

  10. NotForWantofTrying

I have made that at home for $15 (Also, super easy valentines desert to impress your partner)

Is there such a thing as $150 tiramisu in italy? Must be the greatest tourist trap ever then.

I’ve eaten tiramisu in a michelin starred restaurant in Tuscany and I think I’ve payed something like 12-15€ for it. And it was BY FAR the most expensive tiramisu I’ve ever paid, in Italy or otherwise.

  12. Parking-Ad8316

It’s not done the video isn’t long enough

The first time ever I have wanted to see it to the end

I would happily give $150 for the best tiramisu ever

  13. kwakimaki

Served my the most un-Italian looking Italian.

  14. Asmodias1

This is a really, really lazy way to make a Tiramisu… this brings shame.

  15. Sexyhorsegirl666

Wtf you don’t get the moisture in at all. Not good.

  16. Delmago

“That’s how a 150$ scam in Italy looks like”

  17. Mobile-Necessary-333

this is especially stupid bc tiramisu really needs to rest in the walk in for a bit before it tastes peak

  18. HouseOfWyrd

Off topic, but “this is how X looks like” makes me fucking rage.

THIS IS **WHAT** IT LOOKS LIKE. **WHAT.** NOT **HOW.**

It’s either this is how X looks or this is what X looks like.

Not a mixture of the two.

  19. Ksorkrax

    I’d immediately send that back.
If Tiramisu is assembled before your eyes, it’s not Tiramisu. Unless everyone involved is very very patient and by the end of the process, the sun is visibly in another spot.

  20. RazzSheri

I’m the girl in the background wondering wtf all the pomp is at a bistro…

  21. ianmarvin

Tiramisu is so fancy, but if I dip a cookie in my coffee, I’m a caveman? Fuckin double standards, man.

  22. Fellow--Felon

What a fucking rip off. People really think it’s a flex to fall for a tourist scam?

  23. geeoharee

Table side food is so embarrassing, especially something like this where there’s no flair, just a guy building a bad dessert while some wanker films him

  24. JohnsonMathi17

Looks good. Not $150 good. But I’d eat it at normal menu prices.

  25. novian14

    I won’t call that tiramisu, that’s only a lookalike

  26. Low_Wear_7384

I can guarantee that the 2€ in the restaurant down the street thats serving construction workers is as good or better than that one 😂

  27. Patient-Ad7291

Ya, you got scammed if this is true.

  28. Hazel-Cakes

looks like something i’d make at work cause i want tiramisu but the store didn’t have it

  29. truckin4theN8ion

As the Italians are fiercely proud of their culinary traditions, theres a reason this is being peddled to tourists and at such a huge mark up. If someone’s want to try it, try it. If someone’s wants the tried and true traditional version, have it. But asking the question “do other people think this is good” shows youre not eating it for the right reasons.

  30. snooznsarandon

The whole point of Tiramisu is for the lady fingers to soak up all that tasty liquid – tiramisu tastes better the next day for that reason. Literal 150$ spent on most likely the worst tasting tiramisu ever.

  31. SnooPoems8297

150 for a fucking UNCHILLED tiramisu??????

No dark chocolate flakes, no coco powder no nothing?

  32. Putting aside that tiramisu should be allowed to set for many hours to a day before serving, not be assembled and immediately eaten, and putting aside the ridiculous upcharge supposedly accompanying this service, what the fuck?

Shouldn’t the server alternate the placement of the soaked ladyfingers for some semblance of structural integrity? Shouldn’t the server be confident in what he is doing here, instead of fumbling around?

    *Coglione.*

  33. Careless_and_weird-1

Frwsh tiramisu is worthless. Give me yesterdays tiramisu!

  34. Dance_Of_Death_0

    This is the real tourist-trap-misù
