If you’re not feeling up to driving to Westminster, King Com Tam in San Gabriel is excellent. (But damn, this looks good!)

Okay, Asian American, Native New Yorker, in LA 20 years. Now in the midwest which is no foodie town or region.
My old NYC hometown is now the new Chinatown of the country. I enjoyed the great Asian landscape in LA before I left. I have not been around such cuisine for 20 years.
And I’m a loser. With posts like this. Excuse me now while I eat my phone.

I’ve been here and can attest to how good it is. If you’re comfortable with spice, they have a jar of peppers you can just scoop and put into your fish sauce for a big kick. I loved it. One of the better tau hu kys ive had too.
