My partner and I share pretty similar taste in hot sauces, but we're growing a bit bored of our usual favorites. Looking for recommendations that align with our current preferences. There are just so many hot sauces out there and it doesn't feel great buying one just to try a little bit and not like it. We've put our preferences organized as a tier list above. Most of them are widely available, with the exception of el pato which we last saw at the 99c only store. Thanks.

Edit: I made this chart to emphasize that our preferences differ from the common recommendations. I understand it may diverge from the consensus, but was hoping people with similar preferences may see this and have a lightbulb go off. I see a couple good suggestions already that we will try. For reference, S, A, and B tier are all pretty close together and could serve as the basis of good recommendations.

Since you have Marie Sharp nopal green first (I also really like that one), try Lift Off from Karma Sauce. It’s like a flavor bomb was added to the nopal green.

It’s available in some grocery stores near me, at about half the price as ordering from heatonist.

Based on your proclivity for green, not so crazy hot sauces. I think you’d dig yellow bird Serrano.

Around my neighborhood, if you put Marie Sharp’s in B tier, you get your ass kicked.

You should try making some Yucatan peninsula style salsa at home. Take 1 sweet white onion, 1 or 2 habanero peppers, and a couple shoots of cilantro. Chop it all up and juice like 3-6 juicy yummy limes into it all. You can bulk that base recipe up by adding a couple jalapeños or a tomato or a grid-cube-cut avocado thats firmer than ripe. Try the base first though.

Seems like you’d like [Herdez](https://www.salsas.com/herdez/products/) products

Your top tier are green sauces, and although Herdez isn’t necessarily known for its high heat, they’re quite savory and the texture is phenomenal

Their Guac Verde and Verde sauces are incredible, you could add a few drops of something stronger and you can make an entire burrito or really anything entirely coated in a refreshing layer of sauce

I really been trying to only use what I make lately. I’m gently smoking 22 kg( was 17 but snagged 5kg of jalapeno today) of chillies as we speak. Why whole body is on fire 😂
