I’m an amateur cook trying to show you that cooking is really not that hard. And this is creamy tomato basil pasta. The sauce is so good and it literally takes five ingredients. And by the time your pasta is done, so is everything else. Actually, one of the best smells of all time. Just give this a nice chop. Something like this. Start with a bunch of olive oil. Add your garlic. Just let this become nice and fragrant. And then add your basil. Add your tomato paste and mix that around. Touch of red pepper flakes. Just a little bit. Heavy whipping cream. Whisk this all together really good. A little bit of butter. Add your pasta back in. Little pasta water. >> And that’s dinner in 15 minutes, guys.

  1. 6-8oz pasta (start cooking before sauce)
    2 tbsp olive oil
    2 garlic cloves
    1-2 handfuls fresh basil
    2 tbsp tomato paste
    1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
    1/4 cup heavy cream
    1 tbsp butter (optional)
