Just wanted to share one of my favorites that can provide 12 meals for just over $1 a meal.
I season and bake 1 chicken leg (pack of 12 for $5!) add it on top of a package of ramen (no broth, just cook the noodles, drain and season the noodles with the included package), add 1/3 a can of beans, a scrambled egg, and top with a pinch of green onions. For $1.25 meal, you get protein, carbs, fiber, and flavor.

What do you mean by “just cook the noodles”? Like in a pan with oil?
Throw some frozen broccoli in there and you get your leafy greens and some vitamin C in too.
Now This Is What I Call BootStrappin’ Good Work Son
If you cook it up can we see a final pic?
If you have some rice you can make egg fried rice
You can make eggdrop soup with a little of your Ramen packet
I also give it the full works. Vegetables, an egg, cut up hotdog or chicken,
But my extra special ingredient is I’ll put in a different can of soup every time to keep it interesting. My fave rn is creamy chicken and rice with corn. Makes kind of a lot of food but at least I don’t have to make lunch the next day
