I usually don’t like hot sauces made with sugar but TJ’s Hab isn’t sweet to me. I find it hotter than most habanero sauces. Surprised it’s a product of South Africa… maybe the peppers grow hotter there 😆

I bought a bottle of that maybe about a year ago and didn’t find it all that hot. It wasn’t weak, but wasn’t especially spicy either, somewhere in the middle I’d say. But lately there’s been a few posts claiming how hot it is, I wonder if they’ve changed suppliers since I bought mine, anybody know?

I love this one fr. It’s up there for me on level of spice vs enjoyability. I sweat like a mfer and run through napkins but I can’t stop eating it once I start lol.

One of the most flavorful habanero hot sauces, imho, it really tastes like habanero.

It’s good on anything, but really good on stews, jambalaya, and gumbos.

This is one of my desert island sauces. Not my favorite or “the best” and not super hot but it is quite versatile. And i agree I was shocked the first time I looked at the label
And found sugar. It doesn’t come through in the taste at all.

I hate sweet sauces. This one is not sweet at all.

So I’ve been hating on this sauce cuz the first of two bottles I bought was off. Heat was decent, but it had a bad taste and aroma. So I had my second bottle sitting as I was hesitant to crack it because of the bad experience. Well, the second bottle was MUCH better – very hot and great flavor.

I guess with such natural sauces there can be some of this variation? Anyway, I am back to supporting this one 🫡

I think the onion in it gives me heartburn. Otherwise I like the flavor and heat.
