My local shop sells those, they call em “bone-in rib ends” ultimately a pork rib eye. I like to pan sear and finish in the oven if they are thick. They also come out great with a cold sear if you’re feeling lazy. I probably have them 2 or 3x per month.

Pork ribeye for a fraction the price of a beef equivalent? Sign me up
Rub with a sweet rub, Smoke over cherry wood at 300 for 45 min to an hour. Best thing ever

Agree. My HEB sells these pork tomahawks with full meat on bones. They’re amazing. Eat a pork chop and a full rib.
That’s my favorite type of chop to buy – close to the shoulder. You have good marbling on that one. They should’ve trimmed the “lifter” meat though.

We have a butcher here that has pork chops similar to this. They’re heaven.
Looks like the chops we have at Lowes Foods
Paprika, brown sugar, and onion powder rub. It’ll change your life
Just get the shoulder steak. Or loin. Walmart had loins for 2.14/lb. Bake at 400 for 40-50 minutes.
That actually looks nice for commercial pork 👍
Looks like a bird lol
I love the shoulder end blade rib chops. It’s like a extra meaty backrib 🤤
100%. The ribeye chops are insane
