This might be the coolest thing I’ve seen [True Black – Hyderabad, India]
I've never seen a custom espresso machine fully integrated into the counter before. I couldn't spot any branding on the machine itself. Y'all are the only ones I can geek out about this!

This is pretty radical. I wonder if it impacts heat of water at the group head.

You never head of Modbar?

I think La Marzocco makes such machines, at least I’ve seen one in a coffee shop in Bergamo, Italy.
It looka cool because as a customer you can observe drink preparation from a very short distance, basically in front of you. Whether these machines are convenient for baristas, I don’t know.

It seems to be a Mavam Under Counter (around $12k):
I’ve been watching YouTube shorts of a guy that uses one at World of Coffee in Geneva – @ConnorDoesCoffee on YouTube

It’s a Mavam machine, not really custom. I know a few people who have used them, and there are a couple of bars in Denmark that have them. They tend to break down quite often. I also really dislike the angles on the machine, it looks very boxy, almost like a child designed it. To me, it basically looks like a poor man’s Modbar.

MAVAM under counter espresso machine are basically the Konigsegg of the Espresso world. This shop owner really has money to throw around.

I saw this at the 205 coffee bar in Holland MI, pretty cool set up, but the owner said maintenance and repairs are a pain.

Isn’t it too much metal for heat loss. I wonder what the implications on temperature consistency are

It’s basically a “Modbar” this is a copy of one by “Marvam” or possibly an Indian/ Chinese copy, got friends with Modbar in their coffee shops.

I’ve seen these spattered around the US, and Singapore too. It’s cool for sure but far from new
Houndstooth coffee out here in Austin Texas uses that.
Houndstooth coffee sucks lol Austin has better espresso elsewhere
