Are you inviting the whole village?

I feel like buying and raising an actual living cow would cost less.

Does everyone in your family hate the best cut of beef?

Just don’t overcook the loins…could turn out to be a disaster.  Enjoy!

Who are you feeding, the 101st Airborne Division?

Throwing them in the meat grinder and making some well done burgers? Jk, that’s a lot of meat.

I just bought a half cow for 1500. You spent 800 bucks on what’s in the picture? I have 200lbs of beef.

I can see $800 with no sale items but Christmas generally = $15/-$18lb per loin on sale this time of year in VA near DC.

Last year a choice rib roast was $5/lb (this year $6.77 so far but had to buy at that price so I could dry it up a bit.

I have a piece of meat in my deep freezer that looks just like that beef tenderloin. It was a gift and it has no markings on it. What do I do with it? Never made one before.
